Erin Kent - Founder & CEO
Erin is the founder of EKC and a lifelong educator and connector of ideas and people. With decades of experience across urban, independent, and international schools, she’s committed to creating customized strategies for unique places.
But Erin’s work isn’t just about strategy, it’s about people. She believes the best professional learning happens when the right educators connect at the right time. That’s why she works to find head and heart matches between EKC’s strategists and the international schools they serve, ensuring each collaboration strengthens learning for students, nurtures a school’s culture, and connects international schools to each other.
Today, Erin leads EKC’s strategic direction, leveraging the world to lift the world through professional learning that is personal, purposeful, and globally connected.
Meet the EKC Team
At EKC, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. That’s why we’ve built a team of educators, researchers, and strategists who bring a wide range of expertise to the schools we partner with. From developing cutting-edge literacy resources to curating text sets, hosting global conversations, and organizing transformative retreats, this team works behind the scenes (and in classrooms!) to make sure every collaboration is practical, research-backed, and built to last.
Central Team
The EKC Central Team drives forward-thinking projects that extend our impact beyond the classroom. Focused on innovation, collaboration, and community engagement, this team develops initiatives that support international schools and their surrounding communities.

Literacy Strategists
At EKC, our team of literacy strategists works hand in hand with international schools to make curriculum implementation and professional learning feel doable (and dare we say, even exciting?). We meet schools where they are—literally. By organizing our team regionally, your PD investment goes toward what matters most: the learning, not long-haul flights.
Our strategists bring deep knowledge of their local contexts and offer practical, personalized support in English, Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Korean, French, and Spanish because great teaching is a global conversation, and we’re here to keep it flowing.
